Welcome to this very effective way of learning the guitar – by learn how to play exactly what I am playing (a guitarist with over 28 years of playing/teaching experience). From beginner songs and strumming to advanced soloing. Forget the useless exercises, scales and modes!
One reason I’ve done this is that there are so many crappy guitar tabs out there that you waste so much time trying to find the right tab or parts of tab (and many times you’re not sure), and you can end up playing it wrong (or in a much more difficult way).
As you learn the songs you can reference the related lessons on chords, theory, scales, etc so you can better understand what you are playing and make up your own songs and solos!
