Will in Early Years
Will in Early Years

This site is for you, the aspiring guitar soloist. After teaching hundreds of thousands of guitarists like you for free with my YouTube videos, I created a private membership site. Why you might ask? For a few reasons.

For one, this site is truly interactive. I realized that although you might love my free video lessons, you had no way of knowing whether you were doing things correctly. So on this site you can ask any questions on the various exercises and I will give you feedback. It’s like having a real teacher in your home! I’ve joined other sites and the lessons seems scattered and I had no interaction with the teacher.

Two, this site is progressive. I realized that you need a progressive step-by-step approach, rather than jumping around to a variety of topics not being sure what to do next. So this site is progressive in that you will start with the 5 basic shapes and progress from there. You will master one topic before moving on to the next (although you are free to look at any lesson at any time). For example, the Fretboard Mastery 101 course is the basis for all the other courses as it provides the 5 basic shapes that you will use through the entire site.

Three, joining this site shows commitment. When you pay to access these courses it shows that you are serious, committed and will also encourage you to keep practising which is what you need to be doing!

Four, quite honestly quality sites need to be funded. There are many costs associated with sites like this and it also allows me to carve out a living doing what you and I love - learning how to solo better. This site will enable me to focus on creating new lessons continuously based on your feedback, give you the feedback you need to grow, and allow me to make a living teaching you guitar full-time. Your membership will not only ensure that new quality content is continuously added, but helps pay for some of the costs such as video lighting, backdrop, camera, mics, web design and hosting software to name a few!

Let us be your guitar coach and guide you through the experience of learning how to improvise in a step-by-step approach with lots of feedback along the journey. Good luck and I look forward to seeing you on the inside!

PS. A little about us: Will started playing guitar at age 11 thanks to bands such as Iron Maiden, AC/DC and Ozzy Osbourne. He eventually started to study Yngwie Malmsteen, Vinnie Moore, Joe Satriani and the ’shredders’. These were the most technical players of the day.  In 2005, after 24 years of playing, He started taking jazz guitar lessons on the side and was inspired to pursue further study. He studied at Mount Royal College in their Music Performance Diploma program in Jazz Studies. He’s now focusing on teaching students how to play the guitar. His other site with free songs and guitar lessons are also available.
