Free Guitar Lesson A Day Starting!
ByAs I scour the web daily to find great guitar lessons, I’m going to be posting the best that I find on this blog every day. They will mostly be about lead guitar, improvising, soloing over chord changes. As you know by now, this will be CAGED, chord tone soloing, shapes and connecting the chords. By ‘best’ I mean, the most effective, simplest lessons without all the over-analysis. I will also post them at http://willkriski.com
If you have any requests let me know and I try to find a lesson for you or make it up myself. If you want to dig deeper into a topic let me know and I’ll add them to one of my courses.

Oh great!! I am just getting started and am still trying to master the full understanding of the fretboard. Also the chart on the various forms at each fret for each key has got me baffled but I push on!!!
Any of this is great as I am finding that these must be known if one is to play? I seem to be so held up with this and that! Every time I start somewhere I find I have to go back and start something else to get to square one!! If this sounds confuseing it is because it is!!!!
I would start with the 5 CAGED shapes in key of C. I have lessons in the fretboard mastery course and how to solo for that and a blog post.
